Little Cozies things

Is it the second week of January already? Wow. Since I have so many things I would like to accomplish this year for myself regarding decor, this morning I sat down to make some little coasters. That lead to a towel.

I found this pattern at allpeoplequilt.com. Since I am having blogging issues with anchors, just suffice to say you can put:
http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/ideas/index.html in your browser and get there. Do you see a lot of black trim in my work? Don't know why that is drawing me lately. Although I have made in the past some neat granny squares with black trim years ago. I really do like the way it sets off the vintage color and Aunt Grace fabrics I have been using.
Anyhow, I went to projects. Not that I lack for any stimulation from visuals here at home. Just like surfing the www. I found the appliques in their project section easy and fun looking. Since I am all about fun, it follows that it has to be easy to be fun. See how my mind works?
So, I got these little goodies done.
Now onto bigger projects, like finishing up some more of those cute little paper pieced blocks from last week.

I love your little goodies. They look like a lot of work to me. You do beautiful work and I am envious that I do not have patients for this sort of thing.

I love them and I like the black trim.

Thanks Patti! The pics don't show how really pretty the colors are; they aren't as faded or dull as they look. I appreciate your visit and I am LONG overdue to visit you. See you there!

Hello Blondie...am I to guess that you are leaning more toward the quilting and such now? Isn't it funny how we are pulled toward certain things. I myself have been being pulled in a different direction....I've had the longing for a long time now and I've just been so busy I've not pursued it...This year...I am doing it...AND SOON... Best of luck with your quilting..it is beautiful. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Big hugs
God Bless

Hi Doreen; no, not just quilting. But in winter I do much more of that. Love to lose myself in the colors and feel of the fabric. I do have some dollies on the drawing board and I see a few clay faces in my head that need to emerge!
Thanks for peeking.
Big blessings to you!

My Blondie,
You have been very busy and how wonderful to have Hand-mades about the house. I don't think I would have the patience to do that...
Yup, time goes by so fast and all of things You would like to make get pushed back (for me anyways!)
Have a great day~
