Waiting on the Groundhog
Well, folksies it has been a long cold winter for most everyone in the USA this year. Still 6 more weeks anyway you slice it. I think our Puxatawny Phil has a great job. I would like to hibernate all winter. Oh wait, I DO! That is why I am always so soft and fluffy come spring!
I have been doing some walking; about 3.5 miles a day on a wonderful trail in our town. It is quite a nice walk to take with my Sissy. We always find something to giggle about while walking.
Here is an update on the block I have been working on:
This was the first block I shared with you, remember?
4 blocks became this:
And then I made several more to make a table runner like this:
I've also been working on other blocks, I should really try harder to get pictures taken.
Big blessings to all - Spring is on the way!

I love your runner Blondie - pretty colors! And do you have a new blog design or is my mind just finally waking up? LOL Either way it's very pretty. It's been so beautiful here this weekend I just wish the rest of 'winter' would go away LOL Don't forget to go out to my blog - I'm in the One World One Heart 2011 giveaway. Hugs!
Love your table runner - I'm sure she'll love it too. There is so much snow on the ground here that I can't see any signs of Spring yet but isn't it good to know that it's right around the corner. Our flowers are still getting their nourishment for the beauty that will unfold soon.
Hugs, Trish
Beautiful. One of these days I'm really gonna cross the line from quilt appreciator to mini quilt maker. :-) At least once!
Very pretty! I sure love those colors! Glad to hear that you are walking. You need to get some "me" time worked into your schedule. We've been exercising too since the first of the year.
Hi Blondie
Your table runner is so pretty and springy !
I have been trying to walk the mall when I can get there ! I live out in the country and our roads aren't that well kept in winter.
Dear Punxsutawney Phil... that little rascal lives about 20 miles from me... I think I should go bribe him ( to say it will be an early spring ) with some carrots or a pot of hot veggie soup since it is so cold outside ! We are supposed to have a wintry mix on Wednesday , so that may put a damper on the festivities in Punxsy this year.
Hugs and have a great week !

Blondie, you are extremely creative. I love the table runner and the design you came up with. You'll be able to enjoy it just about all year round. Great job!!
Beautiful runner Blondie! The fabric is gorgeous. Hope you are staying warm.
I'll be thinking of your hubby cheering on his Packers this Sunday!
