Wreaths

Last evening as the thunder rolled across Rocklingham County, I went outside to do my daily rain dance. I must not be very effective at it since everywhere else in the Triad got pelted with up to four inches of rain while we here on the Hill stay dry as a bone.

I used that time between dancing to collect various vines - honeysuckle, some wisteria and the ever present Creeping Jenny. I fashioned them into wreaths of various sizes. It is quite a satisfying chore. I dislike waste and always look for a way to repurpose everything.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Blondie - is there anything you can't do? Wow, those look great on your fence. And I love the plow (?). I've got major work to do. It's been very hot 90's and dry here, too. We've had rumblings but no rain.

Blondie, you are amazing! I love the pictures, especially the one of you and Larry! You are just as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside!! Somehow I knew you would be!

The handmade wreaths hanging on the painted fence are pretty! The picture of the plow tugs at my heart strings. It reminds me of sweet years long ago gone by, spent with granny and papa on their farm in Louisiana.

I think your blog is wonderful!
