Hello Folksies
Yesterday was a cold and rainy day. And a dark and stormy night. What better time than to try to get caught up on some various blocks. I sat at the machine with sweet little Dinah stretched out in front of the machine, occasionally batting at the fabric and jumble of threads. I ate doughnuts and drank coffee all day long. Ahh, this is the life for me.
I have a busy week ahead of me so now is the time to post what I have gotten accomplished.
I got this cutie froggie done for the Friday Block Party.
These are going into the Block Lotto. I have made a few more, just no pics of those yet. Loving this block and especially grooving on the reds and white.

I began working on my Teeny Weeny Paper Piece Bee blocks.
And now to leave you with the lovliest of all thoughts for the day. Spring is almost here. The "yellow bells" (forsythia) are beginning to show their promise of sunshine and spring. Thank you Lord!

Your frog block is adorable especially with the fussy cut of the frog fabric you used! Your paper piecing little blocks are fantastic. Weren't the Block Lotto blocks fun to make? I have only made a couple but plan on using that block quite often in other projects.

I REALLY like these blocks, but especially the red ones!!!! I can just see some redwork embroidery done in those white squares. Are you selling these?????

Ahhhh. . . .forsythia!!! Talk about memories coming flooding in. We had forsythias and pussy willows all through my growing up days and I miss them terribly. They don't grow here in Florida (although, with the icy cold winters we have been having, maybe that will change!). Beautiful picture!!! Enjoy the donuts! Wish I could join you!

Cora, I am making some with red work in but not finished with the stitching yet. My sis and I are making a "sister" quilt for each other doing redwork. Look for an email from me.
Tonya, wish you were here!
Linda, I have fallen in love with these blocks. They are so much fun and the possiblilities are endless. The Block Lotto was certainly a good place for me this year. I am having a ball.

You are working on quite a variety of things. I like that. I do the same. Never a boring minute.
